In the age of Internet has made it seem easier to make contacts. I never met Mrs. P. from Hawaii, if I had not sent a message to the world! But she has responded to me at all, was possibly also on the way, as I have written.
Even if I had hardly met Carina, would not your nice email arrived with me, I have still stored. She had "searched players" on my call on the blog (see "about me") responding. In both cases, followed by a full meeting.
And now we are on the subject which, to me is really about: It are the personal encounters that count, make a difference that truly enrich us.
Sometimes it is not possible because of the distance. Many of my friends live very far away and we will just turn the phone and emails. But if it never comes to a real encounter, everything remains in the mists of illusion.
Most people find little time for meeting. For months before an appointment must be arranged. If you have something to say, we emailed quickly or a phone call would take too long, word would lead to another ....
The short messages on the phone and Pc prevent real communication. This creates a little community. For me
these media are ultimately only a means that can lead me to the actual meeting - if I'm lucky and my words reach the man whom I want to know.
